Lovely warm weather, lots of rain. Boots weighing down my heels at every step. First bus – out of service. I start walking. Second bus out of service too. The umbrella is unwieldy. I’m nearly home before a bus shows up. I’m just glad its not cold. Poetry in wet motion.
Working in computer lab in school basement for way, way too many hours. Break-time: run up to the 5th floor, hitting every other step. Double time! Stop at the top to feel heart moving a LOT LESS SLUGGISHLY. Then run back down to the basement. OK, more sitting!
