The Starlit Wood: New Fairy Tales by Dominik Parisien

The Starlit Wood: New Fairy TalesSome creepy stories, some hopeful, some fairy-tale once-upon-a-time, some modern, some futuristic, a lot of fun. I figured out the root fairy tale in most, but some were new to me.

Surprisingly, I didn’t like some stories by authors I liked, and not at all surprisingly I loved stories by new-to-me authors. Naomi Novak’s Miller’s Daughter was particularly good.

Out of about 18 stories, only skipped three.
