Clariel by Garth Nix

Clariel (Abhorsen, #4)

The book is not quite the magnificent wonder which is the first trilogy, but it’s still very good in itself.

The most astonishing thing of all is finding out where the ‘grand passion’ leads Clariel. It is NOT anywhere that I expected, and that is very unusual in YA fiction. A girl who wants solitude instead of marriage? Is that allowed?
