Dead Man’s Hand by J J Adams

A wide mix of stories, both in character and in quality.Dead Man's Hand

Picked it up for Seanan McGuire’s story, “Stingers and Strangers,” which was very good.

The clockwork men were interesting, the whores were not your usual heart-of-gold or hates-all-men characters, and the cowboys-and-indians were certainly presented in a startling way.

The most interesting stories besides Seanan’s were about the Cards and the card players, and the time-slide.
